Arimistane, also known as Androsta 3, 5-dien-7, 17-dione is an aromatase inhibitor (AI).
It is used to help control estrogen levels. Basically, it helps prevent Testosterone from converting into estrogen.
Androsta 3, 5-dien-7, 17-dione is also used to help combat aromatazation from prohormones and other performance enhancers.
This compound is not to be confused with Aromasin (Exemestane).
How Does Arimistane Work?
Now that we know it’s an aromatise inhibitor (AI), you’re probably wondering how this stuff actually works.
Well, what it does is it neutralizes aromatase activity by effectively binding to the aromatase enzyme.
This means it also prevents Testosterone from converting into estrogen.
It’s quite complicated but it makes a great Post Cycle Therapy (PCT).
Arimistane Dosage Information
You have to be careful with dosing Arimistane (Androsta 3, 5-dien-7, 17-dione). You definitely don’t want to crash your estrogen because this can cause side effects.
The dosage for Arimistane is anywhere from 25 to 75mg per day.
I would suggest starting out with 25mg per day to see how you react to the effects of this compound. From here, you can gradually build up the dosage.
You’ll find users that go over 75mg per day, but it’s only advised to do so when you are experienced and know what you are doing.
Based on my research, it has a half-life of roughly 2 to 3 hours.
This means that it should be dosed multiple times per day to maintain stable levels in the system.
A lot of people want to know whether or not this compound could help with Gyno.
It’s hard to say if it will work guaranteed but I would highly suggest giving it a shot if you are facing issues with gyno.
Personally, I don’t have any experience with using this compound to help combat gyno.
However, I’ve read people that have had great results whilst using it to fight gyno.
If you’re looking for something to prevent Gyno during or after a cycle, this product is definitely your best bet.
I’ve used quite a few different arimistane supplements but found just one to be the best when it comes to quality.
I’m talking about Alpha AF by Steel Supplements.
It contains roughly 25mg Arim per capsule which makes it great for dosing. Besides that, you’ll also find quality ingredients such as Laxogenin which can be useful during PCT.
They also made sure to add Black Pepper Extract (Bioperine) to the formula to make sure everything gets absorbed rapidly.
The Final Verdict
Personally, I think Arimistane is a great OTC anti estrogen product. My personal preference goes out to Alpha AF because it has a far superior formula.
Many people use it as a PCT for prohormones or SARMs because it’s compared mild to others.
