Halodrol was a prohormone that was being sold back in 2005.
It is also known as Chlorodehydromethylandrostenediol (CDMA) or 4-chloro-17α-methylandrost-1,4-diene-3β,17β-diol.
Most prohormones like Hdrol are no longer around, but there are some interesting alternatives.
In this article, I’ll be telling you all about this prohormone and what alternatives there are.
Halodrol 50 was one of the stronger prohormones around. It is very comparable to Epistane and Superdrol.
Due to the similarities in chemical structures, the gains from Halodrol are comparable to those of Turinabol.
Halodrol has a anabolic : androgenic ratio of 74 to 28.
Due to its well-balanced ratio’s you could expect to gain a significant amount of lean muscle mass and strength.
I’ve seen people gain anywhere from 5 to 15lbs of mass with this compound. It was truly one of the best muscle building prohormones.
It was an unique compound that had great effects whilst having little to no side effects.
You could expect the following effects from Hdrol:
- Increased strength
- Increased lean muscle mass
- Increased vascularity
- Muscle hardening effects
Unfortunately, the strong version of Halodrol is no longer around.
Pretty much all effective prohormones were banned a long time ago.
A typical dosage for H-drol would be 50mg per day. Some users would go up to 100mg per day but this increases the chance of side effects.
A halodrol cycle would usually last about 4 to 6 weeks since it is liver toxic.
During this period, you’re liver is going to be under stress. Make sure to use a cycle support product at all times when using oral steroids or prohormones.
Gaspari Nutrition Halodrol
If you’ve been searching for effective muscle building supplements, chances are you’ve came across Gaspari Nutrition Halodrol.
Gaspari nutrition was the company that braught Halodrol to the market.
The old and more powerful version was banned years ago as previously mentioned.
A different company seems to have released a new version of Halodrol. Unfortunately, I have yet to try the new formula.
Based on user reviews, it doesn’t come anywhere near the old formula. I’m not entirely sure if it’s worth giving a shot.
Perhaps I might try a bottle in the nearby future and provide you with a review.
However, I do have a few solid recommendations of products I know of that actually work.
When talking about side effects, it depends on which version we are talking about.
The old banned version of Hdrol definitely came with side effects. I’m pretty sure its no longer available anywhere, perhaps through UGLs.
The Most reported side effects included headaches, testosterone suppression and liver toxicity.
I am not aware of any side effects associated with the newer and less potent version.
To be honest, I highly suggest going with the newer prohormones such as 1-Andro and 4-Andro. I found them to be far more effective and safer.
A cycle of H-drol will always require a post cycle therapy and cycle support product.
It’s a real bummer that Hdrol is now officially a banned substance.
But, I have some good news for you guys.
Luckily for you, there’s still a few good alternatives to Halodrol.
You won’t find these type of products anywhere else, trust me. I’ve put them to the test and was able to gain a significant amount of muscle mass in a short period of time.
These products are pretty much the new prohormones. They work very effective and are great for gaining lean muscle mass.
All of these products are still available as of today but who knows when that might change. If you’re looking for the next best thing I highly suggest checking them out.
- Increase Lean Mass

- Improve Recovery
