Most people will mix kratom with a beverage such as orange or pineapple juice. This is a great way to help mask the taste, but what if I told you there was even a better way?
Kratom Tea is easy to make and it’s even possible to make it enjoyable.
I’m not even joking – if you’re having problems with the taste of Kratom you definitely need to try one of these kratom tea recipes.
But first, let’s go over a few things you should know about kratom tea and its effects.
What Is Kratom Tea?
Simply put, it’s a tea made from the leaves of the Kratom tree. It’s widely used by people to help with various conditions. It has very strong effects which can range from stimulating to a sedative.
There are a lot of different strains that you can make into a kratom tea. It all comes down to your personal preference.
Most people prefer making tea out of their kratom powder because they get to enjoy the taste and process. I used to have problems with taking my kratom because of the strong taste.
I’ve tried mixing it with several juices but nothing really seemed to help.
Once I tried various kratom tea recipes I found that it was way better than all the other methods I had tried.
How To Make Kratom Tea?
I’ve gotten a lot of requests on how to make kratom tea. Most people aren’t sure how to make it and think it’s too difficult. Once you know how to properly make the tea you will love it.
Before you consider making this recipe, make sure to have high-quality kratom on hand. You want to get the most out of your kratom experience which means you’ll need a high potent strain.
I will be showing you the most convenient way to make
Trust me, it really isn’t that difficult to make kratom tea.
This is my personal favorite kratom tea recipe and once you’ve tried it you won’t go back to other methods.
Kratom Tea Recipe
Step 1 – Weigh out your dosage
Alright, first things first. Let’s say your taking 3 grams of White Vein Kratom. Accurately weigh out the dosage and put it in a cup. For this step, I highly suggest using a digital milligram scale instead of eyeballing your dosage.
Step 2 – Add Lemon Juice
I would recommend using a natural concentration of lemon juice. I usually go with a ratio of 5 to 1. This means that for 3 grams of Kratom, you’ll have to add about 15 grams of lemon juice.
Once you’ve added the lemon juice make sure to keep stirring until the kratom fully dissolves. This might take several minutes.
Step 3 – Add Boiling Water
Once the kratom has dissolved in the lemon juice it’s time to add boiling water. You can add as much water as you want, I usually fill up the whole cup which is about 200ml.
Once the water has been added, make sure to stir it for 2-3 minutes. You want the whole to be properly mixed before you start drinking it.
Step 4 – Using a Strainer (Optional)
This step is optional. It’s time to put the hot mixture through a strainer. If you’ve used kratom leaves I would suggest putting the mixture through a strainer to filter everything out.
If you have used powder you probably won’t need a strainer. Again, make sure that the kratom powder is fully dissolved.
Step 5 – Drink Your Kratom Tea!
Woohoo, your kratom tea is finished. You can consider adding honey or sugar, some people even add a tea bag to help mask the taste some more. Enjoy!
It will only take about 5 to 10 minutes to make this kratom tea recipe. In my opinion, it is much better than other methods such as tossing and washing kratom.
It took a bit of trial and error for me but eventually, I found the best tea recipe that works for me.
Kratom Tea Vs Capsules
A lot of people often compare Kratom tea Vs Capsules. It’s safe to say that both kratom tea and capsules are effective ways of consuming kratom.B
Capsules are convenient and they don’t have any taste. But, they are usually quite expensive compared to drinking tea.
By drinking tea you’ll absorb the kratom much faster. It’s a little but more time consuming compared to taking a few capsules but you will save more money.
So, which one is better…?
There is no real difference between the two! The only thing worth mentioning is that capsules might take longer to kick in. I would suggest trying both to see which one has your personal preference.
